This weekend I installed my MFA thesis show. There was lots of blue painter’s tape, walking up and down ladders, brushing, adjusting, and sweating. Although I have spent many hours trying to envision what this show would look like, there is always the tweaking that needs to take place during set up. Luckily, I had some input from my professors on Saturday about the arrangement of the pedestals, and some help from numerous people. I’ll be posting pictures soon.

I’m curious if your thesis show will be open to the public. I’ve purchased some things of yours from the last two student shows and am hopeful maybe some of these beautiful new things might be available.

Hello, yes, I remember you Michael. My show IS open to the public. The gallery in Richards Hall is open from 12:30-4:30 every afternoon this week, and my closing reception is from 5-7pm on Friday. That is the time to come, because I will also have more pots in my studio for sale during that same time. Looking forward to it!
