Above is a slideshow of images from my thesis show last week. I just got back from the UNL administration building after running around completing all of the required paperwork to file my thesis and make this MFA degree official! What an journey it has been these last four years. I began thinking about getting an MFA nearly 15 years ago. I am really happy that I have had this experience. The reward is truly in how I feel about my work, a growing ability to discuss it with others, and a feeling that I have the necessary tools to continue with making work. I owe so much to the people in my life who have made it possible: First, my husband Edmund who has tirelessly, endlessly, supported this dream of mine at the direct expense to his own ambitions, my parents who have believed in me and encouraged me, and to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Garth and Alanna, who have been keeping everything together on the farm while we were away.
