Elegant Porcelain Tableware
Normandy Alden has been working in clay for over 20 years and uses a variety of throwing and hand building skills to make functional, elegant tableware. She received her MFA at the University of Nebraska and now lives on a small farm called Cairncrest Farm in upstate NY where her family raises grass fed beef.
“Much of my work is inspired by the rolling hills and agricultural landscape that surrounds me. I seek to bring beauty and elegance to the simplicity of domestic life, it's tasks and rhythms.”
